Bordeaux University Press
PUB
The University press was founded in 1983 thereby extending a publishing tradition which until then had only produced reviews. The PUB widened its mission to promote and showcase research at all the Bordeaux universities by then publishing books.
In 2006 the PUB catalogue contained over 700 titles in 28 research and pedagogical collections in planning, anthropology/ethnology, communication, law, economics, education, environment, exobiology, geography, languages – German, English, Basque, Spanish and Occitan -, history and civilisation, French, linguistics, philosophy, politics and wine.
Each year the PUB publishes 30 new works, thereby helping to spread the reputation of research in Bordeaux.
