The reviews
Some of the University's reviews are over a century old. The oldest ones are the Revue des Études Anciennes and the Bulletin Hispanique, both of which came from the annals of the Arts Faculty in Bordeaux, founded in 1879.
The University's third great review, Les Cahiers d’Outre-Mer, was first published in 1948 and appeared four times a year. A new archaeological review was started by Bordeaux 3 and other partners in 1983.
These reviews, whose long life has been amazing, were joined in the 90s by new publications which were the fruit of research carried out in research centres in literature and information and communication sciences.
